Hello Grandview Neptunes Families,

We are excited to kick off another swim season and wanted to share several important updates and upcoming dates with everyone!

🏊 Registration is Now Open
Registration for the 2026 Grandview Neptunes swim season is officially live on Swimtopia. We encourage families to register as soon as possible so we can begin planning practices, meets, and volunteer assignments for the season.

If you would prefer to complete a printed registration form, we will be attaching a printable registration packet to this email.

🙋 Parent Volunteers Needed
Our swim team runs entirely because of the support of parent volunteers. Whether helping at meets, timing races, concessions, ribbon sorting, or stroke judging, every volunteer role is important and appreciated.

One of our biggest needs each year is having enough trained stroke judges, timers, and writers so responsibilities can be shared fairly throughout the season.

📣 Highly Encouraged for ALL parents: Stroke & Turn Clinic
Even if you do not think you want to become a stroke judge, we strongly encourage ALL parents to attend this clinic if possible. The more parents who are trained, the easier it becomes for everyone to take turns helping throughout the season instead of the responsibility falling on only one or two individuals.

📅 First Official Parent Meeting
Our first official parent meeting will be:

📍 Westside Park – Gazebo by the Grandview City Pool

During this meeting we will:

• Review important season information
• Discuss volunteer opportunities
• Answer parent questions
• Collect any remaining registration fees
• Have printed registration packets available

👕 Team Suit Ordering
We will also be placing a team suit order this year during the parent meeting.

We can help with sizing that evening, but please bring exact payment if possible.

Suit Prices (tax included):

• Girls Suit: $32
• Boys Jammers: $25

Please bring:

💪 First Dry Land Practice
Our first official dry land practice for all swimmers will be:

🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

📍 Westside Park – Gazebo by the Grandview City Pool

Please have swimmers:

• Bring plenty of water
• Wear comfortable running/workout attire
• Wear athletic shoes suitable for running and outdoor activities

It will likely be hot, so we encourage swimmers to come prepared and hydrated.

This is a great opportunity for swimmers to meet teammates, begin conditioning, and get excited for the season ahead!
