Grandview Neptunes Swim Team

Our swim team thrives because of the incredible parents and volunteers who support our swimmers each season. From meet-day roles to behind-the-scenes help, the more hands on deck, the better the experience for everyone.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we’ll be sharing more information about volunteer opportunities, including roles like timers, stroke judges (with training provided), and more. Thank you for being an essential part of what makes our team successful—we truly couldn’t do it without you!

Volunteer positions are essential to running a successful swim meet. Every family is expected to help by volunteering at meets throughout the season.

To Sign Up for a Volunteer Position:

1. Log in to your SwimTopia account.
2. Open the upcoming meet from the home page or meet schedule.
3. Select Job Signup or scroll to the Volunteer Jobs section of the meet page.
4. Review the available volunteer positions.
5. Choose a position and click Sign Up.
6. Save your selection before the volunteer sign-up deadline.

Important Notes:

• Volunteer sign-ups typically close before the meet so all positions can be assigned and training can be completed if needed.
• When you sign up for a volunteer position, you are committing to cover that role for the duration of the meet.
• Family members are welcome to switch off during the meet, but it is the family's responsibility to ensure the position remains covered at all times.
• No prior experience is required for many volunteer positions. Training and instructions will be provided as needed.

The Grandview Neptunes Swim Team relies on volunteers to help make our season a success. Whether you have a swimmer on the team, were a former swimmer, or simply want to support local youth athletics, we would be happy to have you join us.

• Swim meet support
• Concessions
• Set-up and clean-up

No experience is necessary for many volunteer roles, and we are happy to provide guidance and training when needed.
