Hello Grandview Neptunes Families,

Championships are almost here! This is the biggest and most exciting meet of our season, and we hope to see as many Neptunes there as possible. Whether this is your swimmer's first season or they're a returning veteran, Champs is an unforgettable weekend full of fast swimming, team spirit, and fun memories.

Before Championships, don't forget that this Tuesday (July 21) is our final regular season away meet, and it's at Naches! This is the perfect opportunity for swimmers to get one more meet under their belts while also becoming familiar with the Naches pool before returning a few days later for Championships. We encourage everyone to attend if you're able!

This year's team theme is Red, White & Blue, so we encourage all of our swimmers and families to show their team spirit by dressing in patriotic colors throughout the weekend! The official Championships theme is Stars, Stripes & Starting Blocks, and Saturday morning begins with an Opening Ceremonies parade featuring all of the league teams.

Championship Details

•Location: Naches Pool (Applewood Park), Naches

•Dates: July 24-26

•Registration Deadline: Monday, July 20 at 11:00 AM

•Cost: $8 swimmer surcharge + $3.50 per individual event

How the Meet Works

•Friday Evening: Individual Medley (IM) Finals (ages 9 & up only)

•Saturday: Freestyle Relay Finals, Breaststroke Prelims, and Freestyle Prelims

•Sunday: Medley Relay Finals, Butterfly Prelims, Backstroke Prelims, followed by finals later in the day.

If this is your first Champs, don't worry! Unlike our regular swim meets, Championships is a three-day league championship where swimmers compete against athletes from every Mid-Valley Swim League team. There are more swimmers, more excitement, vendors, awards, and plenty of opportunities to cheer on your teammates. It's truly the highlight of the swim season!

Since Naches is about an hour away, many families choose to make a weekend of it, while others simply drive back and forth each day. Food vendors and championship apparel will also be available throughout the weekend.

We know the drive is a little farther than our regular meets, but we encourage every eligible swimmer to participate. Championships is a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and growth our swimmers have shown all season, and we'd love to have a strong Grandview Neptunes presence cheering each other on.
